Obama's Approval rating Dropping like a brick

Here's the latest percentage of polled who approve the president's Job:

Looking at the numbers, the MSM gives Obama More Approval marks then disapproval. Hardly a surprise.

Bush Better Then Obama in Louisiana

A new Louisiana poll has a lot of data points to show how unhappy voters in the state are with Barack Obama’s handling of the oil spill but one perhaps sums it up better than anything else- a majority of voters there think George W. Bush did a better job with Katrina than Obama’s done dealing with the spill.

50% of voters in the state, even including 31% of Democrats, give Bush higher marks on that question compared to 35% who pick Obama.

Overall only 32% of Louisianans approve of how Obama has handled the spill to 62% who disapprove. 34% of those polled say they approved of how Bush dealt with Katrina to 58% who disapproved.

While the poll results indicate a lot of unhappiness with the President, ultimately BP is getting the largest amount of blame from voters in the state. 53% of voters say they’re angriest at the oil company to 29% who say their greatest unhappiness is with the federal government. And 78% say BP has the greatest responsibility for cleaning up the spill to only 11% who say that onus lays with the federal government. 44% think BP CEO Tony Hayward should be fired to 29% who think he should not and 26% who are not sure.

One thing the oil spill has not done is created a spike of opposition to offshore drilling in Louisiana. 77% of voters still support it with only 12% against. Only 31% say the spill has made them less inclined to be in favor of drilling while 42% say it hasn’t made a difference to them and 28% say they’re now stronger in their support.

If there’s any ‘winner’ in this unfortunate event it’s Governor Bobby Jindal. 63% of voters approve of the job he’s doing, the best PPP has found for any Senator or Governor so far in 2010. There’s an even higher level of support, at 65%, for how he’s handled the aftermath of the spill.

Dead on Take of Obama

The following was supposedly written by a 4th grade teacher. It has been
proven said teacher did not write it. But I say the letter, regardless of who
wrote it, is dead on accurate in my personal assessment. Read on:


Mr. Obama:



I have had it with you and your administration, sir. Your conduct on your recent
trip overseas has convinced me that you are not an adequate representative of
the United States of America collectively or of me personally. You are so
obsessed with appeasing the Europeans and the Muslim world that you have
abdicated the responsibilities of the President of the United States of America
. You are responsible to the citizens of the United States .. You are not
responsible to the peoples of any other country on earth. I personally resent
that you go around the world apologizing for the United States telling Europeans
that we are arrogant and do not care about their status in the world. Sir, what
do you think the First World War and the Second World War were all about if not
the consideration of the peoples of Europe ? Are you brain dead? What do you
think the Marshall Plan was all about? Do you not understand or know the history
of the 20th century?



Where do you get off telling a Muslim country that the United States does not
consider itself a Christian country? Have you not read the Declaration of
Independence or the Constitution of the United States ? This country was founded
on Judeo-Christian ethics and the principles governing this country, at least
until you came along, come directly from this heritage. Do you not understand
this? Your bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia is an affront to all Americans.
Our President does not bow down to anyone, let alone the king of Saudi Arabia .
You don't show Great Britain , our best and one of our oldest allies, the
respect they deserve yet you bow down to the king of Saudi Arabia . How dare
you, sir! How dare you!



You can't find the time to visit the graves of our greatest generation because
you don't want to offend the Germans but make time to visit a mosque in Turkey .
You offended our dead and every veteran when you give the Germans more respect
than the people who saved the German people from themselves. What s the matter
with you? I am convinced that you and the members of your administration have
the historical and intellectual depth of a mud puddle and should be ashamed of
yourselves, all of you.



You are so self-righteously offended by the big bankers and the American
automobile manufacturers yet do nothing about the real thieves in this
situation, Mr. Dodd, Mr. Frank, Franklin Raines, Jamie Gorelic, the Fannie Mae
bonuses, and the Freddie Mac bonuses. What do you intend to do about them?
Anything? I seriously doubt it. What about the U.S. House members passing out
$9.1 million in bonuses to their staff members on top of the $2.5 million
in20automatic pay raises that lawmakers gave themselves? I understand the
average House aide got a 17% bonus. I took a 5% cut in my pay to save jobs with
my employer. You haven't said anything about that. Who authorized that? I surely
didn't! Executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be receiving $210 million
in bonuses over an eighteen-month period, that's $45 million more than the AIG
bonuses. In fact, Fannie and Freddie executives have already been awarded $51
million not a bad take. Who authorized that and why haven't you expressed your
outrage at this group who are largely responsible for the economic mess we have
right now.



I resent that you take me and my fellow citizens as brain-dead and not caring
about what you idiots do. We are watching what you are doing and we are getting
increasingly fed up with all of you. I also want you to know that I personally
find just about everything you do and say to be offensive to every one of my
sensibilities. I promise you that I will work tirelessly to see that you do not
get a chance to spend two terms destroying my beautiful country. Sincerely,

Alvin Greene May be just what the Senate needs.

The Democratic Party in the state of South Carolina has begun raising serious concerns that the shocking victory of Alvin Greene in the Senate Democratic primary this Tuesday may have been the result of nefarious meddling.

Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.) the senior black lawmaker in the state, made the case in various interviews on Thursday. State Party Chair Carol Fowler echoed the same point, while also calling on Greene to leave the race because of recent revelations of prior felony charges.

Greene's election is, if anything, truly unusual. However, this may be a message voters are sending to Congress. Enough of the "Obama agenda". Look at it this way, Alvin M. Greene never gave a speech during his campaign to become the state's Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate. The mystery man of South Carolina politics didn't launch a Web site or hire consultants or plant lawn signs. There's only $114 in his campaign bank account, he says, and the only check he ever wrote was to cover his filing fee.


Indeed, he could not name a single specific thing he'd done to campaign for lofty political office. Yet, more than 100,000 South Carolina Democrats voted for Greene on Tuesday, handing him a resounding victory over a well-funded ex-judge who has served four terms in the state legislature.

Things have gotten even stranger since Greene's startling win. First, the Associated Press reported that Greene faces pending felony obscenity charges for allegedly showing pornography to a University of South Carolina student. Then, the state's Democratic Party chairman called on him to withdraw from the general election. He's been accused of being a Republican plant and listened to his victory explained away as a fluke that resulted from his name coming before his opponent's in the alphabet.

All of this barely fazes Greene. He says he has no intention of withdrawing and is challenging his opponent, the incumbent Republican Jim DeMint, to a September debate.

Greene leads a remarkably isolated existence at the home of his ailing 81-year-old father, James Greene, on a stretch of rural highway in central South Carolina. Greene has no cellphone and no computer, except the one at the public library.

Greene may actually be just the man SC needs. With ZERO political experience, he's not elite in any way.

9. When obtaining controlled prescription drugs.

10. When making some debit purchases, especially if I'm out of state.

11. When collecting a boarding pass for airline or train travel.

12. When proving I am of legal age to buy booze and cigarettes.

13. When voting at the polls.

14. When applying for Social Security, Medicare & Medicaid benefits.

15. When enlisting in the military.

16. When entering a military base.

17. When applying for food stamps.

18. When applying for disability or economic assistance.

19. When cashing a check.

20. When entering my place of work.

21. When applying for or renewing a passport

I'm sure there are more instances, but the point is that we citizens of the USA are required to prove who we are nearly every day. Why should people in this country illegally be exempt?

What a difference 66 years makes

The words of the President of The United States of America June 7 1944:

Congrats to Rush Limbaugh

Congrats to Rush Limbaugh on his fourth marriage

Kathryn Rogers is wife number four for Rush Limbaugh. The two were wed in Palm Beach at Breaker's hotel.

Rush Limbaugh, 59, needs no introduction. He's the most listened to radio talk show host in the United States, with millions of listeners. He's been the source of much anger from the left, and a very vocal critic of liberals, and especially Presidents Clinton and Obama.

Kathryn Rogers is 33, and is a professional party planner. The two have been dating since 2006.

Given Rush's position on gay marriage, what was really interesting was that Elton John, who is openly gay, performed at the wedding for $1 million.

There were 400 guests attending, Sean Hannity, Rudy Giuliani, former Senator Fred Thompson, George Brett, and Karl Rove were just some of the celebrity guests in attendance.

Rush is up to four. The Bible said that a king was not have multiple wives, which was one of Solomon's down fall. I wonder if Rush will ever catch up with King Solomon?

Many of my conservative colleagues are quick to point out what Obama hasn't done. I think I will be a bit different and point out his accomplishments. Here we go:

  1. Obama has successfully taken America from recession, to Depression.

  2. Obama has successfully closed businesses and put people out of work (10% unemployment).

  3. Obama has successfully bowed and begged and apologized to our enemies.

  4. Obama has successfully encouraged North Korea to test Nuclear bombs and send missiles toward Hawaii.

  5. Obama has successfully embarrassed the American people time after time (See all previous entries)


Yeah! Obama has been pretty successful!

First off, I did a little research on our misinformed young vblogger...Not an American.

Secondly, but most importantly. Unconstitutional how?? The provisions of the United States Constitution (and inherently it's amendments) apply only to United States Citizens. One can hardly be a citizen if they are here as an illegal alien now could they? Don't think so!, so that alone wipes out the argument of constitutionality.

He goes on to argue that the Arizona Law violates the 4th amendment to the US Constitution. Allow me to present said amendment:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

The 4th and 5th words of the Amendment specify who is protected. "The People" (aka the CITIZENS) of the United States of America. Again, the Arizona law does not violate the constitution. Further proof to back that assertion up is found in the preamble of the same Constitution which reads:

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

The Constitution does not, and can not provide such protections to non-citizens.

Let's be frank here. The only people making a big stink over this in the United States is the Leftists in government wanting the illegal votes from illegal aliens and the Illegals themselves. Want proof? Look at the gobernatoral elections in Washington State in 2004. Where did those mysterious votes for leftist Christine Gregoire come from? You got it....Illegal votes. (Prison inmates, the deceased, etc. etc.)
